I imagine myself as a child when I look into this image. not quite tall enough to see out of the window yet. Beyond the window is where the strife of life dwells and while I'm young I am protected. Back in the day scenes such as this were common place, lantersn waiting to be lit as the sun drew in. Lanterns like the one in the picture were typically used to take down the garden when the inhabitants needed the toilet.
