Helm Crag and the Travellers' Rest bathed in the golden light momentarily managing to break through the stormcloud to give the area such warmth. While in the Lake District I was on the A591 and had just passed Grassmere en route to Thirlmere. I was treated to this gorgeous light for only a few seconds during which I managed a few images before this light was gone. A few days later this road, a short distance north, was destroyed by the floods caused by Storm Desmond
