This lake was deserted, being up a gravel road and above the snow cutoff line. I was surprised, the gravel road was worse, with only a few rocks to avoid. I was hoping for a bit of sun, as stellar jays tend to like the marshy field, but instead there was mostly clouds and drizzle with only a few moments of intermittent sun. Beyond the marsh, is hidden lake, emerald green and surrounded by firs.
