To commemorate the 70th anniversary of D-Day. This Lancaster Bomber and two spitfires flew from Southampton Airport on the 4th June 2014 on their way to the Remembrance Ceremonies to mark the 70th anniversary of D-Day in France. Within the main image is a photograph of Netley Military Cemetery near the banks of the Solent just outside the City of Southampton. The "Ode of Remembrance" is an ode taken from Laurence Binyon's poem, "For the Fallen", which was first published in The Times in
