This Buddha is one of four beautifully designed statues on the World Peace Stupa, Pokhara, Nepal. Each of the statues represents the important events related to Buddha and named according to the place where the event occurred. This photograph was taken just as the early morning sun shone on the gold statue making it look even more magnificent. After years of planning the Stupa was finally constructed in 1992. There are fantastic views from the top of the Stupa of Pokhara, Phewa Tal ( lake )
