Descending Scarfell Pike canvas
Scarfell Pike is England’s highest peak. It is 3,209 feet / 978 metres above sea level. Unfortunately the summit of Scarfell Pike was covered in thick cloud on our 3 peaks challenge. Despite being the smallest of the peaks, I found Scarfell Pike the most difficult to climb. 8 of us set off before 0300hrs 14th June 2014 when it was completely dark.
