THE FOUR COURTS DUBLIN canvas
This is a shot of the Four Courts which are the law courts in Dublin on the side of the River Liffey. The Four Courts are the location of the Supreme Court, the High Court and the Dublin Circuit Court. Until 2010 the building also housed the Central Criminal Court. On 14 April 1922 they were occupied by Republican forces and destroyed by fire destroying all the public records. They were rebuilt and opened again in 1932.
