This painting shows The North Norfolk Railways steam locomotive J15 060 number 564 as it pulls away from Sheringham station. This popular loco was built in 1912 and was lucky enough to escape being scrapped as diesel engines took over in the 1960s, when it was preserved by the Midland and Great Northern Joint Railway Society. The M&GN society is the supporting charity of the North Norfolk Railway.
