Downfall of a Bf109 framed print
A Battle of Britain incident in Kent on 30 September 1940 featuring Messerschmitt Bf 109 number 5175 of 7/JG53, piloted by Unteroffizier Ernst Poschenrieder. His aircraft was hit, probably by a Spitfire of 92 Squadron, and he was fired on by anti-aircraft guns over Chatham dockyard. His forced landing at Broom Hill, Strood, was so severe his plane broke in half and he sustained serious back injuries. He spent the rest of the war as a prisoner.
art print
Your chosen art is printed on Epson Enhanced Matte 189gsm paper. This bright white paper prints with exceptional colour saturation and produces excellent highlight and shadow detail.
dry-mount fitting
As an optional upgrade, your picture is irreversibly bonded to a flat board, using heat and vacuum technology ensuring your print is perfectly flat. No risk of ever 'rippling' where the print develops a 'wavy' surface due to atmospheric changes.
framing
We use "Polcore Frames" made from 100% high quality recycled material given a wooden finish as described above. 30mm wide and 13mm deep.
clarity perspex
Scratch-resistant and beautifully clear Clarity+ acrylic glazing protects your artwork from humidity and filters 99% of UV light. Used UK-wide by professional artists and galleries.
