Didcot Tank Engines b/w canvas
The Great Western Societys three GWR "Prairie" tank locomotives, No.s 4144, 5572 and 6106 inside the shed at Didcot Railway Centre. 6106 and 4144 were built for the heavy and fast suburban services on the GWR network, especially working into Paddington. 5572 is a smaller version for freight and passenger work on lighter branch lines. 6106 was one of the first locomotives bought into the Great Western Societys collection and is the only surviving example of the 61xx design.
