This Turaco was so friendly. He stood on my arm and had rather warm feet. I adore everything about him. His coloring, his looks, everything. So glad I was able to capture him with my camera. The Red-crested Turaco (Tauraco erythrolophus) is a turaco, a group of African near-passerines. It is a fruit-eating bird endemic to western Angola. Its call sounds somewhat like a jungle monkey.
