Dandrymire Viaduct. canvas
The 12 arches of the Dandrymire Viaduct on the Settle to Carlisle line near Garsdale station which used to be called Hawes Junction and Garsdale.It changed its name in 1900 to reflect its actual location. In 1932 it became just Garsdale when the branch to Hawes closed in 1959.They may reopen it again if the efforts on the Wensleydale Railway come to fruition.
