The Text Kiln canvas
The Text Kiln (more properly an oast house) is the Jewel in the Crown of Tasmanias (Australia) Derwent Valley hop growing area. It is located at Bushy park in the complex which still grows hops to this day. At the time of its construction, in 1867, it was commented that the Text Kiln was probably the largest hop kiln in the world.
