I believe these cottages are now used for self-catering holiday lets. Being practically as far from Portree as it is possible to drive in the north of The Isle of Skye, it is a less popular place to live. Over the garage on the left is a small cluster of isles called An Dubh Sgeir, An t-lasgair & Sgeir nan Ruideag which is behind the cottage. Beyond the right hand end are the Outer Hebrides.
