Braunton Burrows acrylic
One of the many Pine trees planted during the second world war by Italian prisoners of war across the Burrows. This one looks like its seen better days. Braunton Burrows North Devon Is a Unesco Biosphere Reserve and is the largest sand dune system in England. It is particularly important ecologically because it includes the complete successional range of dune plant communities, with over 400 plant species.
