The Clock Tower Pembroke canvas
The Clock Tower of Pembroke is an architectural masterpiece that has been a symbol of the town for centuries. Built in the 19th century, the clock was the work of Mr John Charles Froyne of Castle Terrace. The clock tower has a long and storied history, having been owned by the council and sold to W H Smith and Sons, with access to the clock required twice a year. The clock face and hands are a striking feature of the tower, and the building itself is a marvel of architecture.
