steamtug brent 1945 acrylic
brent is currently moored in maldon essex. brent is the last surviving steam vessel of the port of london authoritys fleet and one of only three surviving steam vessels left. she was built for the admiralty as part of the war effort. the brent took part in the queens coronation thames celebrations in 1953 and the silver jubilee in 1977. more info can be found on www.steamtugbrent.org about the restoration of this steam vessel
