The Sultan Ahmed Mosque, more commonly knows as The Blue Mosque, in Istanbul, Turkey. This incredible piece of Islamic architecture sits as the biggest and most commonly visited mosque in Istanbul, by tourists and locals alike. During prayer time, no photography is allowed inside. Luckily, I visited outside these hours. The mosque was built in the early 1600’s as compensation for their failings in their wars throughout Persia.
