Morston lies within Blakeney National Nature Reserve in North Norfolk. With its big skies, haunting marshes and meandering tidal creeks it is one of the largest areas of undeveloped coastal habitats of its type in Europe. It is also a rich area for marsh plants such as samphire and for birdlife, from breeding terns to over-wintering wildfowl and waders.
