The Bay at Portknockie canvas
Portknockie is a fishing village on the Moray coast between Findochty and Cullen in north east Scotland. Overlooking the Moray Firth it is famous for Bow Fiddle Rock (which is just hidden behind the rocks on the left). It is a great place to spot dolphins. The town was founded in 1677, ande was a significant fishing port in the 19th century. Today the harbour still continues to be busy with private boats. This picture was taken on a lovely autumn evening as the sun was setting.
