This photo was taken in the spring, one beautiful May day when I visited the Koporin Monastery in Serbia. This is a source of miraculous healing water which is located in the immediate vicinity of the monastery. This old well is right below the monastery in the woods, surrounded by trees and greenery and a paved path leads to it. Among many other interesting things which are worth photographing in this place, I've also found this old well and I was fascinated by the story...
