The 199 Steps picture board
The 199 Steps are a significant part of Whitby's history and have become a popular tourist attraction. The climb up the steps provides stunning views of Whitby, the harbor, and the North Sea. It's also often associated with the Gothic novel "Dracula" by Bram Stoker, as Whitby is a setting in the book and the steps are mentioned in the story. The sun sets over the North Sea and the harbor, it casts a warm and golden light over the steps, the town and its surroundings.
