Iceflows at The Jetty, Narsaq Greenland canvas
Narsaq in Southern Greenland was founded as a trading post in 1830. It's hard to believe, with a current population of under 2,000, that it is the ninth largest town in the whole of Greenland. Seal hunting was once the main occupation, but now fishing, sheep farming and tourism are the ways that the people of Narsag make a living. Local boats steer their way through the melting ice flows for fuel at the local jetty. Taken 19th June 2023 Nikon D780 Nikon 28-300mm
