The Swartberg Pass is recognised as the finest of its type in South Africa and it is a national monument. It is a long pass of 23,9km with stunning, ever changing vistas, however, it is not suitable for those who suffer from agoraphobia. Captured from Mullers Kloof with the Blikstasie ruins (Tin station), which housed the convict labourers who built the pass under the supervision of Thomas Bains.
