1430 from Falmouth canvas
The 1430 sprinter train from Falmouth Going over the viaduct at Carnon Valley Bissoe, The Carnon Valley viaduct on the Truro to Falmouth railway line. Originally one of the Brunel wooden-framed viaducts, designed by him for strength with cheapness,in the 1930s it was replaced in stone. The original Brunel stone piers that supported the wooden frame were left in position and can be seen through the arches of the more modern structure.
