Vicarage Bridge at Kintbury picture board
The Vicarage Bridge at Kintbury is a picturesque scene of a narrow brick arch bridge spanning the Kennet and Avon Canal. Designed by John Rennie in c1810, the bridge is strengthened by two railway tracks on the towpath side. The bridge leads from the canalside to the village and St Mary's parish church. The greenery and canalside trees provide a peaceful landscape, especially in the autumn. The cloudy sky adds to the tranquil atmosphere of the scene.
