Pulpit Rock on the Isle of Portland Monochrome picture board
A stunning monochrome image of the majestic Pulpit Rock at Portland Bill, standing tall against the vast and awe-inspiring backdrop of the Jurassic Coast. Once a natural arch, this sea stack was formed in the 1870s after quarrymen cut away the land to reveal a rock formation resembling an open bible leaning on a pulpit. The Pulpit Rock is a relic of the quarrying industry and is similar to Nicodemus Knob, another landmark on the island.
