A view of the Belle Tout Lighthouse, the surrounding farmland and the coastline stretching west towards Cuckmere Haven, Seaford and Newhaven. The headland at Beachy Head was considered a danger to shipping so in 1832 the Belle Tout lighthouse was built. However, it is frequently shrouded in mist and low-lying clouds and so it was decommissioned 1902 after the Beachy Head lighthouse had been constructed. Oak Frame – Natural wood, smooth woodgrain finish (Oak coloured).
