Historic Rabbit Breeding House canvas
Ditsworthy Warren House: a 16th-century residence built for Warrener, a rabbit supplier to local gentry and miners. This Grade II listed building was used in the 2010 Hollywood film War Horse by Steven Spielberg. The abandoned house sits in the middle of the picturesque Dartmoor wilderness, surrounded by trees, with the ground, sky, and clouds painted in shades of black and white. The monochrome landscape reflects the building's age and the era of rabbit breeding.
