Serpentine Bridge, Hardwick Park, Co. Durham canvas
Serpentine Bridge in Hardwick Park was originally constructed in 1754 when the architect James Paine landscaped the park for the then owner, John Burdon. Hardwick Park is now a Grade II listed site and a popular country park for people in County Durham. It has a good display of daffodils in Spring, as can been seen in this picture.
