Looking over a meadow near the quay on the river Alde to the village of Orford in Sussex. This was an important place in medieval times as evidenced in the castle with its fine keep built by Henry II in 1165-73. This impressive polygonal tower is well preserved and inside has rooms and a maze of passages. Near the village is Orford Ness - a shingle spit which links to the mainland at Aldeburgh. The image has a digitally produced coloured pencil finish.

Black Frame – Black brushed finish.
Oak Frame – Natural wood, smooth woodgrain finish (Oak coloured).

White Frame – White brushed finish.
