Tallest Spire in the UK acrylic
Salisbury Cathedral has the tallest church spire in the UK. The spire was built in 1320, at 404 feet (123 m). Legend has it that the location for Salisbury Cathedral was picked by the Bishop after he asked for an arrow to be shot in the direction he would build the cathedral; the arrow hit a deer, which died in the place where the cathedral is now.
