The Cutter #6 print
The sixth in a series of images based on the architecture of Tony Kettle at the Woodhorn Museum in Ashington, Northumberland. This image shows a detail of the roof of the building, somewhat stylised,textured and coloured and then rotated and mirrored twice to produce this art deco effect. Kettle took inspiration from the coal cutting machines used in the colliery, the site of which is now occupied by the museum
