This stunning photograph captures the exquisite beauty of Normanton Church at Rutland Water during a golden sunset. Originally built in classical style for the Normanton Hall estate, the medieval church was rebuilt in 1764 and enhanced with a new classical tower and western portico designed by Thomas Cundy Junior in 1829. The nave and apse were added in 1911, creating the magnificent structure seen in this photograph. The statue in the foreground enhances the historical significance of the scene
