The Lancaster bomber PA474 was built at the Vickers Armstrong Factory at Hawarden Airfield in May 1945. Lancaster Bomber PA474 was acquired by the BBMF in 1973. The Lancaster currently carries the markings of AR-L 'Leader', which served with No 460 Squadron (RAAF).
