The Bures Dragon print
According to legend, around 1405 a fearsome dragon terrorised the local inhabitants. This possibly originates from the Crusades, when a crocodile given to Richard the Lionheart escaped from the royal menagerie at the Tower of London and eventually turned up in the Essex Marshes. Thanks to a local Farmer the dragon still walks the hills of the Essex / Suffolk border.
