A long exposure shot of some of the many fortifications that line the Latvian coast at Liepaja. The Karosta fortresses and defenses were built between 1893 and 1906 primarily to protect the 140 warships and 30 submarines based there. What was once an exemplary military town with industry, base and national significance in what became the USSR in later years is now a small town fighting to get back on its feet.

Silver Frame – Silver brushed finish.
