Nambucca Bar canvas
North Coast of NSW. Looking south along the coast to Mylestrom and Scotts Head in the distance. The area is known for its surfing and arts culture, hippies and alternate living. Nambucca was named from an Aboriginal term "Bucca Bucca" meaning crooked river. The area was founded by cedar workers who worked the 70 miles of river in 1883, dairy farmers soon populated the clearings and the area was colonised as a town in 1915. Thanks for looking .
