County Bridge canvas
The Barnard Castle Bridge (also called the County Bridge) over the River Tees in Barnard Castle, Teesdale, County Durham, England. Apparently built or rebuilt in 1569, although the inscription on its stone-work says 1596 (allegedly the result of a 20th Century stonemason’s error).
