Welcome Home canvas
This is a combination of two of my own images. The bridge is an old pack horse bridge in Lancashire. It connects the tiny village of Wycoller to the remains of a large house just across the stream called Wycoller Hall. The bridge is called Sally's Bridge and was named after Sally Owen, mother of the last squire of Wycoller Hall, Henry Owen Cunliffe. The hall that is a little further along the track is thought to be were Charlotte Bronte based Ferndean Manor in the novel Jane Eyre
