Bosham, pronounced 'Bozzum', is a village situated on an inlet of Chichester harbour, known to have been inhabited by the Romans, but it certainly existed before that. One look into the past of Bosham soon reveals a village steeped in history and legends. By the 8th century, Bosham had become the sixth most important town in Sussex.
