A dragon stares fiercely at visitors to Manchester Cathedral in England. A detail of a carving on the exterior of this church, parts of which date back to 1215. This carving is a gothic grotesque (similar to a gargoyle, but not used as a water spout). Black and white photograph, taken in July 2016. this was an entry for the 'Capture the Cathedral' competition which was shortlisted, and subsequently used by the Cathedral in their own marketing.
