Ending her day at The Worlds End canvas
The ocean going tug St Christopher was abandoned here in Ushuaia Argentina in 1957 after rudder damage and engine trouble. She was engaged in salvage work in The Beagle Channel on the SS Monte Cervantes. The vessel started life in the Royal Navy as HMS Justice as a rescue tug and saw service during the Normandy Invasion in June 1944.
