Beautiful Swanage, a coastal town in the south east of Dorset, England, UK. This Summertime Seafront image of this very popular tourist destination also shows the Wellington Clock Tower. The Tower is technically a ‘spare’ from London. When the ships taking the stone (from quarrying in Swanage) to London, before returning for a another load, they needed some ‘ballast’ to keep them afloat & so stone and ironwork were used which can now be found all over Swanage.
