Kilchrist ruin on the road to Elgol on the Isle of Skye, another wet and windy day on the misty isle but isnt that Scotland is all about. The Ruin was once the Manse of the Minister of Strath for the old Kirk Strath Suardal, who left in 1824. At one time there were believed to be eight dwellings on the site. Site of an old marble quarry and the only railway on Skye.
