St Lawrence From Hungerford Marsh canvas
A view of the parish church of St Lawrence in Hungerford, Berkshire from the nearby Hungerford Marsh nature reserve. The church was built in 1816 to replace an earlier one which had collapsed. This was later refurbished in the mid 1800s. The church was built in Bath stone transported along the adjacent Kennet and Avon Canal. The Marsh is under the care of the Berks, Bucks and Oxon Wildlife Trust.
