Waiting at the Station canvas
Great Western Railway pannier tank locomotive 3738. This locomotive, designed by Collett, is one of the 57xx class. It was built at the Great Western Railway works at Swindon in 1937 and saw service at Old Oak Common. After being sold for scrap, it was bought by the Great Western Society and now runs regularly at the Didcot Rail Centre, Oxfordshire.
