Supermarine Spitfire acrylic
The enduring icon of WW2 fighter aircraft the Spitfire is writ large in the history of the UK and the RAF. Evolved from the Schneider Trophy aircraft built by the Supermarine company the first aircraft flew in 1936. Quickly accepted by the RAF the Spitfire became the mainstay of the UK fighter squadrons - the later Mks were capable of speeds in excess of 440mph and heights of 44,000ft.
