The operations record for No. 111 Squadron is typical: day after day, flying was interrupted or not possible at all: "Squadron released. Weather again unfit for flying due to heavy snowfall." Hawker Hurricane Mk I serial number L2001, coded JU-B, was the regular aircraft of F/O Henry Ferriss.

Black Frame – Black brushed finish.
Oak Frame – Natural wood, smooth woodgrain finish (Oak coloured).
Teak Frame – Teak “antique” smooth woodgrain finish.
White Frame – White brushed finish.
Grey Frame – Grey woodgrain finish.
Silver Frame – Silver brushed finish.
Gold Frame – Gold brushed finish.
