On holiday in Cornwall I took this shot in Portreath as the tide was rapidly coming in and the late evening sun was sinking just as fast. I had to shoot quickly or risk being cut off on the rocks with the possibility of drowning. (What we do for our art eh?) I just love the way the sun was like a spotlight on the waves capturing the gracefulness of the spray and the silhouette of the lone surfer waiting for the big one to come rolling in.
